Foundations of Science of Mind Class Information
Foundations of Science of Mind. This is the introductory class and is a prerequisite for most other classes. In this course you will learn about the ten Core Concepts of Ernest Holmes' Science of Mind philosophy, as well as the basics of affirmative prayer, also known as "Spiritual Mind Treatment." This class is experiential, with many guided meditations and exercises to assist students in embracing and incorporating Science of Mind principles.
Welcome to a transformational learning journey! An exploration of the Science of Mind & Spirit is an adventure into an expanded and empowered life. The discovery of your individual place in the universe and your personal relationship to the Creative Power opens doors to fulfillment in your daily experience, and directs the course of your life in positive and enriching ways. As the founder of Religious Science, Ernest Holmes, says,
"There is a power for good in the universe greater than you are and you can use it!"
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you belong to a UCRS/UCSL affiliated church or center or live closer than 30 miles to a church, you need to have your Minister's e-mailed permission to enroll in an on-line class. PLEASE do not enroll or pay your deposit until you have that permission. If you are not a member of a church and live 30 miles away from a church or further, you do not need a Minister's permission. These classes are created for you.
This class is a pre-requisite for all other Science of Mind classes.

- The Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes -- 1937 Edition -- NOT the 1926 edition - and NOT the red editition put out by Murine Press. Please purchase the Tarcher/Putnam edition.
- Living the Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes

2. Registration: Online Foundational Class Fee, including materials and registration to UCSL for is a discounted fee for youth of $205. Upon registration, you will be able to access the workbook and the MP3 files for each class electronically., . As with all on-line classes, this class in limited to 12 students.
